Wyoming in August

on September 13, 2011 - 4:57pm

Just got home from a great two week run of shows and it’s good to be back in Nashville.  We had roughly 8 shows in 14 days from South Dakota, to Wyoming then we finished up the run in Amarillo, TX.  The band did an awesome job and as always it was good to work with them and make music.

We had a little down time through out the trip and one of the shows we played was a benefit concert in Hulett, Wy.  The organization also had a rough stock rodeo to help raise some money and we were able to attend.   But we didn’t just show up at the rodeo, we were right in the way behind the chutes.

July in Nashville

on July 27, 2011 - 4:30pm

The spring of 2011 was tons of fun and packed with concerts and travel but the month of July brought a welcomed break from the road.  This gave me some extra time in the studio as well as a little time in the pool with sweet Tanya.  Since I’ve been home more, I’ve been busy recording several of my own songs that you all will hopefully hear in the near future, as well as singing demos for song writers here in Nashville.

Spring 2011 Update

on May 15, 2011 - 9:31pm

Lot’s of travel this spring!  Most of it has been with a guitar in my hands, but on one of the trips I left my guitar at home.  Tanya and I got to spend just under two weeks in Italy and it was awesome!  We ate like royalty and topped most meals off with gelato, (Italian ice cream) then walked our legs off trying to soak up Italian culture and see all the sights we could see in the short amount of time we were there.

Another highlight of my spring travels – The Black Hills.  I’ve been fortunate to play music in the Black Hills several times a year for the last 4 or 5 years.
